Stevens Institute of Technology is a technological university located in Hoboken, which is a city in the US state of New Jersey, in Hudson County, with a population of more than 38 500 inhabitants, estimated during the 2000 census.

The university was founded in 1870 and it is a premier private coeducational institution focused on research and entrepreneurship.
